Beaujolais came to us from a small, rural shelter. She had a very bad eye infection that required immediate medical attention. We tried very hard to save her eye, but it was too far gone and had to be removed. It doesn't bother Beaujolais one bit, and we think it adds to her character...which, coincidentally, she has plenty of! She's very active and has a dominant personality. She's never met a cat that she doesn't think she's the boss of, and lets them know it too. Fortunately, the kitties in her foster home are used to kittens! She does need a playful kitty friend who's also patient enough to put up with her kitten shenanigans. She's not all about play though, she's definitely loving and the second she's pick up, she will PURRRRRR. She's never been around dogs, but based on her personality, she'd likely be fine with them. Beaujolais would be best in a home with older children. She's ready for her forever home and if you're interested in her, contact NTCR or fill out an application.
