Attention NTCR Community
We are temporarily closing intake for NON-NTCR cats. This means that we are currently unable to take in any cats who were not adopted from our organization. As a network of foster homes without a physical shelter, our resources and space are limited. We kindly ask that if you need to surrender a cat not adopted from NTCR, you contact the shelter or rescue where you adopted them or explore other rehoming options.
 
For Those Surrendering NTCR Cats
If you adopted your cat from NTCR and need to surrender them, please schedule an appointment with us. We may have a waiting list for openings in our foster homes, so your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated.
 
Please do not abandon or leave cats unattended. We understand that circumstances change, and we are committed to the welfare of every cat we’ve placed. If you are struggling to keep your NTCR cat, reach out to us directly. We will work with you to find a solution because their safety and well-being are our priority.

Hi! I'm Elena! I was rescued with my sister, Isabelle, from the Garland shelter when we were kittens! We were adopted right away and now we've been returned to our foster mom. I'm all grown up now, so this is all very confusing to me. My foster mom says I grew into a beautiful girl! Want to know something funny? I had short hair as a baby! Now my hair is long and soft! I'm very social, affectionate, and talkative and would love to meet my forever family soon. I have lots to tell them! I would do best in a home with no small children. Dogs are okay, as long as they are nice to cats. The dogs in my last home didn't like cats, so my sister and I had to have our own room. We don't like other cats at first, but maybe after VERY SLOW introductions, we would be okay. I'd be happy as an only pet as well! I have a lot of love to give. If I sound like the right girl for you, fill out an application and come meet me! And check out my sister, Isabelle! She's super sweet.
