Attention NTCR Community
We are temporarily closing intake for NON-NTCR cats. This means that we are currently unable to take in any cats who were not adopted from our organization. As a network of foster homes without a physical shelter, our resources and space are limited. We kindly ask that if you need to surrender a cat not adopted from NTCR, you contact the shelter or rescue where you adopted them or explore other rehoming options.
 
For Those Surrendering NTCR Cats
If you adopted your cat from NTCR and need to surrender them, please schedule an appointment with us. We may have a waiting list for openings in our foster homes, so your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated.
 
Please do not abandon or leave cats unattended. We understand that circumstances change, and we are committed to the welfare of every cat we’ve placed. If you are struggling to keep your NTCR cat, reach out to us directly. We will work with you to find a solution because their safety and well-being are our priority.

I came from the Amarillo shelter where I'd taken in a litter of kittens and mothered them even though I'm little more than a baby myself.  They said I was a great mom but I need to be able to play and have my own life so now that they are old enough to take care of themselves NTCR said come to DFW and let's find you a home so here I am.  I am very curious - love to know what is behind every closed door - and friendly - after one hiss I want to be everyone's friend.  I like fuzzy mice and rattling balls and chasing around the room then I just want to curl up with someone and chill.

I'd be okay on my own as long as my new humans had time to play with me each day but a kitty or dog companion would also be great.  I love scratching posts and use the litter box fine.
