Hi! I am Cassian. My journey has been a little confusing so far. See, I was caught in a trap way out in Amarillo and when I was taken to the shelter, they found out that I had an owner! They were so kind to call my owner, but they never came to get me. They told the people at the shelter that they didn't live there anymore. The nice volunteers at NTCR saw that I was in need and helped me get to McKinney so I could have a fresh start. My whole tummy had to be shaved because my fur had become so matted from being on my own and being outside. It's taken me a little while to adjust because I missed my family at first, but it's getting better! The volunteers with NTCR say that I am just a big love! I am definitely a lap cat. I absolutely love to be snuggled and kissed and pet! I love having my fur brushed. And I love to snuggle my face up with yours and get kisses! I am really good with kids as long as they are calm and gentle. I'm also good with other cats, but I prefer cats that are laid back like me. High energy kittens are not really the best fit for me. I'd really love to be the only cat so I can give you all my love, but one or two calm cats like me would be okay too. A quiet home would be the best for me! I'm a big love bug and I'm ready for my forever home!
