Attention NTCR Community
We are temporarily closing intake for NON-NTCR cats. This means that we are currently unable to take in any cats who were not adopted from our organization. As a network of foster homes without a physical shelter, our resources and space are limited. We kindly ask that if you need to surrender a cat not adopted from NTCR, you contact the shelter or rescue where you adopted them or explore other rehoming options.
 
For Those Surrendering NTCR Cats
If you adopted your cat from NTCR and need to surrender them, please schedule an appointment with us. We may have a waiting list for openings in our foster homes, so your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated.
 
Please do not abandon or leave cats unattended. We understand that circumstances change, and we are committed to the welfare of every cat we’ve placed. If you are struggling to keep your NTCR cat, reach out to us directly. We will work with you to find a solution because their safety and well-being are our priority.

Hello, my name is Lucius.  I am a playful and loving boy.  My favorite thing in the whole world is to be with you, I love to be near you while you go about your day.  However, I do like to be picked up and loved up.  If I feel like it has been too long between loves then I will meow to let you know. I am a little unusual as I like belly rubs and I will purr to let you know how much I enjoy it.  Just to let you know my purr box is loud, it is like a motor running.....  As well as getting all of this love, I do enjoy playing with my siblings.  We play a fun game of chase and tag, Dash is really hard to catch.  My favorite toys are springs, they are so much fun to bat and chase, they can go anywhere.  At bedtime I like to sleep with you, ok I will be honest I like to sleep on you.  As I am so young I would love to go home with one of my siblings so I can continue to develop emotionally and socially.  Are you ready to add the incredible me to your family?
