Attention NTCR Community
We are temporarily closing intake for NON-NTCR cats. This means that we are currently unable to take in any cats who were not adopted from our organization. As a network of foster homes without a physical shelter, our resources and space are limited. We kindly ask that if you need to surrender a cat not adopted from NTCR, you contact the shelter or rescue where you adopted them or explore other rehoming options.
 
For Those Surrendering NTCR Cats
If you adopted your cat from NTCR and need to surrender them, please schedule an appointment with us. We may have a waiting list for openings in our foster homes, so your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated.
 
Please do not abandon or leave cats unattended. We understand that circumstances change, and we are committed to the welfare of every cat we’ve placed. If you are struggling to keep your NTCR cat, reach out to us directly. We will work with you to find a solution because their safety and well-being are our priority.

Hello, my name is Camembert.  I am a playful, cuddly, sweet boy.  I like to play with all kinds of toys, but my favorite ones are the interactive ones or fuzzy balls and springs that I can bat and chase.  I have so much fun playing chase and tag with the other foster kittens in my house, we can all run really fast.  However my absolute favorite thing to do is to be with you.  I love to be carried and loved on.  This is when you will hear my massive purr box, it sounds like an engine running.  OK, I will admit my purr box is always running.  I am just an easy going kind of guy.  If you look closely at me, you will see that my lower lip does not come all the way up.  When NTCR rescued me, I had a degloved chin, I had surgery to repair it but it left me a little unique.  Do not worry, it does not bother me or cause me any problems, my foster mum says it makes me "extra special" As I am young, I would love to go home with one of my foster siblings so I can continue to grow emotionally and socially.  However if you have a young and playful cat at home that may work.  Are you ready to add the unique me to your family?
