Attention NTCR Community
We are temporarily closing intake for NON-NTCR cats. This means that we are currently unable to take in any cats who were not adopted from our organization. As a network of foster homes without a physical shelter, our resources and space are limited. We kindly ask that if you need to surrender a cat not adopted from NTCR, you contact the shelter or rescue where you adopted them or explore other rehoming options.

For Those Surrendering NTCR Cats
If you adopted your cat from NTCR and need to surrender them, please schedule an appointment with us. We may have a waiting list for openings in our foster homes, so your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated.

Please do not abandon or leave cats unattended. We understand that circumstances change, and we are committed to the welfare of every cat we’ve placed. If you are struggling to keep your NTCR cat, reach out to us directly. We will work with you to find a solution because their safety and well-being are our priority.

Lego is sweet, independent and playful unless it's bedtime...that's when he turns into a velcro kitty. He LOVES to cuddle in bed and will sleep on or right next to his foster all night. Lego and his sister, Jingles, are dwarfs so they will always be small and look kitten-like. (Please note, dwarfs are different than Munchkins. His legs and body are proportionate, just smaller whereas Munchkins have extremely short legs and long bodies. Lil Bub & Grumpy Cat had dwarfism.) Lego is a bit larger than Jingles, but will always remain small. He has very short, soft, fleece-like fur and a wrinkly forehead that makes him appear “very concerned.” He's a beautiful silver-gray color. He’s got a funny personality and loves…LOVES…to play. He’s very active, much more than his sister. You’ll notice that he has a cloudy spot on one eye. When cats eyes form in utero, there is a webbing effect of blood vessels that the eye forms under. As kittens grow, the webbing recedes. By the time they’re born, you don’t see the webbing. Lego has one portion of webbing that did not recede. He has been to a specialist and there’s nothing to be done for it and it doesn’t impair his vision. Jingles has a much more extreme version of this. Lego has excellent litter box and scratching post manners. He uses both covered and uncovered litter boxes. He loves the cat trees in his foster home! Lego is a really wonderful kitty who is looking for a special forever home. He must go to a home with another playful young cat or kitten. I think a home with no small/young children would be better suited for him as well.
