Attention NTCR Community
We are temporarily closing intake for NON-NTCR cats. This means that we are currently unable to take in any cats who were not adopted from our organization. As a network of foster homes without a physical shelter, our resources and space are limited. We kindly ask that if you need to surrender a cat not adopted from NTCR, you contact the shelter or rescue where you adopted them or explore other rehoming options.

For Those Surrendering NTCR Cats
If you adopted your cat from NTCR and need to surrender them, please schedule an appointment with us. We may have a waiting list for openings in our foster homes, so your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated.

Please do not abandon or leave cats unattended. We understand that circumstances change, and we are committed to the welfare of every cat we’ve placed. If you are struggling to keep your NTCR cat, reach out to us directly. We will work with you to find a solution because their safety and well-being are our priority.

I am Richmond, one of the Dukes of England!  I am a sleek black kitten with a bit of white undercoat - they call me a shadow tabby.  As I get older, this coloring may become more prominent, but I am beautiful as I am now.  My whole family enjoys purring and climbing and purring...I mean, we are kittens.  My motto is to play hard and rest hard.  I greatly enjoy my food and have been growing up just fine.  Once we are done playing and eating, I enjoy cuddling up next to a human for a good nap.  Resting on foster mom's (FM) chest is my favorite spot.  The whole bunch of us are very friendly to visitors that come to foster mom's house - we have never met a stranger. FM says this means we should adapt well in our forever homes.  Because I am young and fairly active, I really need to be adopted with one of my brothers or another kitten that will play with me.  Are you ready for excitement and cuddles?
