Attention NTCR Community
We are temporarily closing intake for NON-NTCR cats. This means that we are currently unable to take in any cats who were not adopted from our organization. As a network of foster homes without a physical shelter, our resources and space are limited. We kindly ask that if you need to surrender a cat not adopted from NTCR, you contact the shelter or rescue where you adopted them or explore other rehoming options.
 
For Those Surrendering NTCR Cats
If you adopted your cat from NTCR and need to surrender them, please schedule an appointment with us. We may have a waiting list for openings in our foster homes, so your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated.
 
Please do not abandon or leave cats unattended. We understand that circumstances change, and we are committed to the welfare of every cat we’ve placed. If you are struggling to keep your NTCR cat, reach out to us directly. We will work with you to find a solution because their safety and well-being are our priority.

Shawna came to NTCR after she was found on the street and taken in.  When the family realized she was pregnant they knew they were not ready for that much commitment and asked for help.  Shawna was a great Momma and her babies are all weaned and ready for their own homes.  This sweet girl loves people and petting and hanging close.  She'll curl up close but is not thrilled with the other kitties in her foster home so walks away when the kittens start running close.  The cat tree and the window are favorites for her as she watches the entertainment nature provides.  Shawna is showing signs she'd like to go outside so you have to watch at the door going out or in but she is not aggressive about it.

All this sweet girl wants is a home and a hooman to call her own.  Could that be with you?
