Hello, my name is Amara. 

I am a sweet, cuddly, and playful girl.

Have you heard my little chirp? It is the best way for me to get your attention, but you have to be listening closely. My foster family laughs at me due to the fact that when I want to be loved on, I normally let out a small chirp and rub myself against you. I am very persistent at times but that is just because I love to be near you and having your attention. I came to my foster family after an unusual beginning and because of that I was a little unsure of who I could trust. However, they were very patient with me and really helped me come out of my shell. Now, I want nothing more than for you to love on me, my cheeks are my favorite spot.  I will let you know how much I appreciate you with my purr box and what my foster family calls my dance. I am not one who likes to sit still and be pet as there are so many spots for you to get or for me to rub against.

As I am still young, my foster family also introduced me to toys. Who knew there were so many different toys to play with? I like all sorts of toys, but my favorites are ball towers that I chase around in circles or anything that I can bat around.
