Attention NTCR Community We are temporarily closing intake for NON-NTCR cats. This means that we are currently unable to take in any cats who were not adopted from our organization. As a network of foster homes without a physical shelter, our resources and space are limited. We kindly ask that if you need to surrender a cat not adopted from NTCR, you contact the shelter or rescue where you adopted them or explore other rehoming options.   For Those Surrendering NTCR Cats If you adopted your cat from NTCR and need to surrender them, please schedule an appointment with us. We may have a waiting list for openings in our foster homes, so your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated.   Please do not abandon or leave cats unattended. We understand that circumstances change, and we are committed to the welfare of every cat we’ve placed. If you are struggling to keep your NTCR cat, reach out to us directly. A nice lady found me hanging on the streets and gettting picked on by some neighborhood cats. She brought me to NTCR and my foster home and life has been great since then! I have my own room and I don't need to fight for my food anymore, the inside life is definitely for me! Despite being outside and getting beat up on I'm a super sweet guy. I love to be petted and get my head scratched. Though one of the best parts of my day is when my foster mom brings me wet food treats. My scars inside and out are starting to heal. My scabs are going away. Since I'm now eating a good and regular diet my coat will start to fill in. I am gonna be one handsome lad! Speaking of, please don't judge me by my picture. I will get some new ones when I start to get acclimated at PetSmart. I'm ok with other cats after a slow transition. Dogs are ok so long as they give me some time to acclimate before they try to play with me. I still may not play with them. The dog in my foster home wants to play as soon as the door is opened and he's a bit much for me right now. I also wouldn't mind being the king of my castle. If you love my rags to riches story, apply to meet me!
