Ferris Mewler is quite a character as his name implies! He is ridiculously affectionate and starts purring the second you start petting him, but he gets overstimulated and "love bites" which is why we think he should not be in a home with small/young children. He is very playful and loves toys. He's usually torn between playing or being cuddled/kissed on...playing usually wins. He likes being petted and brushed, but is sometimes sensitive about his hindquarters and/or tail being touched. He is very treat motivated and if he finds the treat bag, will grab it, run off with it, and attempt to open it. He is ok with other cats - We are not requiring that he be an only cat, but he has a pretty alpha personality with the other cats in his foster home. He wants to play with them, but also wants to be the boss. He LOVES people and really wants to be the center of attention with his foster mom. Plus, Ferris is totally cool, as you can see by his pictures...and, he's super smart. He learned his name in no time! His adoption fee is $120. He is negative for Feline AIDS and Leukemia.
