Attention NTCR Community
We are temporarily closing intake for NON-NTCR cats. This means that we are currently unable to take in any cats who were not adopted from our organization. As a network of foster homes without a physical shelter, our resources and space are limited. We kindly ask that if you need to surrender a cat not adopted from NTCR, you contact the shelter or rescue where you adopted them or explore other rehoming options.
 
For Those Surrendering NTCR Cats
If you adopted your cat from NTCR and need to surrender them, please schedule an appointment with us. We may have a waiting list for openings in our foster homes, so your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated.
 
Please do not abandon or leave cats unattended. We understand that circumstances change, and we are committed to the welfare of every cat we’ve placed. If you are struggling to keep your NTCR cat, reach out to us directly. We will work with you to find a solution because their safety and well-being are our priority.

After 6 years, Daisy AKA Rachael was returned to NTCR. Original weight when adopted was 8.09 pounds. Weight when returned at first vet visit was 3.6 pounds. Daisy has been through a lot but is coming back and has a can-do attitude. A new owner would have to cherish her and continue working with her as she now spirals upward. She has her “meow” back so has become vocal. Before getting her voice back she made up for it with purrs as she tried to be heard.

After 6 months in foster care she passed away in February 2024.

Hi I am Daisy and as my foster mom says I am an incredibly sweet, petite girl.  I love head scratches and lying in the sunbeams. I'm curious about everything going on around me and purr quite loudly when happy in someone's arms.  I had a home for 3 years but they moved somewhere that didn't allow me to go with them - why would they do that?  At almost 5 I've adjusted well to being in a home with lots of animals but since I'm pretty laid back and won't ask for attention I'd be happier in a home with my humans and not so much competition for affection.  Does that describe your home?  Are you my forever family?
