Cassiel is an amazingly sweet, gentle soul. He was rescued from a small shelter where his time was running short. He’s a big boy, about 3 years old, with gorgeous blue eyes and markings, and he’s a total love!! He does like to love bite, but it’s usually followed by kisses. He’s a “bed buddy” and loves to snuggle in bed. He loves pets, scratches and being brushed, which is good since he has long fur that requires regular brushings. He loves catnip toys…those are paws down his favorite! His tail was previously broken – we’re not sure when or how it happened…it could have been at birth for all we know – so his tail, about ¼ of the way down, doesn’t move much. It doesn’t bother him at all though and our vet said there was no reason to remove it. His back legs can be wobbly sometimes, but those too don’t seem to bother him and there’s nothing to be done about it either. It doesn’t slow him down and he can jump up/down just fine. He's a bit less graceful than some cats, but he's okay with that. He does require a special diet to prevent urinary tract infections, but since he's been on prescription food, he's been doing really well! He’s good with other cats, but we do not know if he’s good with dogs as his foster does not have dogs.
