Attention NTCR Community We are temporarily closing intake for NON-NTCR cats. This means that we are currently unable to take in any cats who were not adopted from our organization. As a network of foster homes without a physical shelter, our resources and space are limited. We kindly ask that if you need to surrender a cat not adopted from NTCR, you contact the shelter or rescue where you adopted them or explore other rehoming options.   For Those Surrendering NTCR Cats If you adopted your cat from NTCR and need to surrender them, please schedule an appointment with us. We may have a waiting list for openings in our foster homes, so your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated.   Please do not abandon or leave cats unattended. We understand that circumstances change, and we are committed to the welfare of every cat we’ve placed. If you are struggling to keep your NTCR cat, reach out to us directly. Hello! I'm Gin! I'm a cute little girl with a shy personality when I meet new people. I was rescued from a shelter with my siblings not too long ago. I love other kitties but I'm still learning to trust humans. I've made a lot of progress though. My foster mom calls me a skeptic, I need to bat at things a few times before I fully accept that they aren't going to attack me. I may never be comfortable being picked up and cuddled but I do love being pet and getting scratches. I love to play too! I'll chase after my siblings or things on strings til I wear myself out. I love fake mice and toys I can carry in my mouth. I'll take the mice by the tail in my mouth and toss them in the air then hunt down my prey.  I'm pretty passionate about my playtime.  I'd love to go home with one of my siblings if you are looking for a pair. Check out my brother Amaro or my sister Brandy!

If you would like to meet one of our  NTCR cats from PetSmart, Adopt-a-Pet, or Petfinder, please call  us at 214-454-9395 and leave a voice message. We check them daily. Or you can email us at adoption@northtexascatrescue.com if you are ready to adopt. You will receive information and forms to complete the process.
