Attention NTCR Community
We are temporarily closing intake for NON-NTCR cats. This means that we are currently unable to take in any cats who were not adopted from our organization. As a network of foster homes without a physical shelter, our resources and space are limited. We kindly ask that if you need to surrender a cat not adopted from NTCR, you contact the shelter or rescue where you adopted them or explore other rehoming options.
 
For Those Surrendering NTCR Cats
If you adopted your cat from NTCR and need to surrender them, please schedule an appointment with us. We may have a waiting list for openings in our foster homes, so your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated.
 
Please do not abandon or leave cats unattended. We understand that circumstances change, and we are committed to the welfare of every cat we’ve placed. If you are struggling to keep your NTCR cat, reach out to us directly. We will work with you to find a solution because their safety and well-being are our priority.

Hi I'm Amaro! I was rescued from a city shelter with my siblings not too long ago. 

I am here to play and I love a good time. I play hard and love fiercely. Chasing after things on strings is my favorite. I'm getting really good at leaping in the air! I'm a pretty happy little guy too,  I'm always purring-foster mom calls me a purr-monster it's so loud. I like to be picked up and snuggled and if you put me down I'll chirp at you until you pick me up again. Once I'm worn out from playing I'll seek you out for a nap to recharge. I'm a little shy at meet and greets but if you take me home and give me a few days to settle in I'm sure I'll be your best friend. My foster mom says I don't understand what personal space is so be prepared for lots of me up close and personal! 

Like what you see? I'd love to go home with you!  I would really like to have a friendly and playful cat to keep me company in my new home. I keep trying with the old ladies at my foster home but they don't know how to have fun. I don't know dogs yet but maybe I might like them! Hope to see you soon!
